What we do:
Hotel Sipan
Hotel Sipan is located on the north tip of Sipan Island, Croatia, at the head of a 2,5 km long bay in the community of Sipanska Luka, facing west into the unique beauty of the Elaphite islands. The location of our waterfront hotel is described by our guests as outstanding. The hotel is embraced by lush Mediterranean vegetation in a well-groomed park-like setting right on the harbour in the heart of the community of Sipanska Luka, with its mix of restored stone houses, luxury villas, and historic churches.
Sipanska Luka is one of those rare places where a local fisherman, grandma, or artist will still take time to sit with you on the hotel terrace and tell you personal stories or island legends. Hotel Sipan was once a factory for processing the island olive harvest. The hotel itself was created in 1979 and then renovated further in 2005 and 2006 into a modern, comfortable building with 79 rooms in the main building and five additional luxury guest rooms in our nearby 120-yearold historic stone Villa. Most rooms have stunning views of the bay and picturesque Sipanska Luka. Some rooms have balconies.

Sipan Island - a stunning location
Sipan is the biggest of the Elaphite islands and lies just 9 sea miles west of the historic town of Dubrovnik, at the southern end of Croatia. There have been two main settlements on Sipan Island ever since Roman times, Sipanska Luka and Sudurad, and they are both marked by beautiful stone palaces and villas from the days when the island was a retreat for the Dubrovnik nobility.
Sipan's mild climate, its subtropical vegetation and its clean and pristine waters make it a perfect travel destination from early spring to late autumn.
The island is connected by ferry to Dubrovnik from both Sipanska Luka and Sudurad. There are two companies running passenger services 10 times a day. The Jarodlinija ferries - purchase your tickets from their office at the ferry dock (Port of Gruz); Nova International runs motorboats and you can purchase tickets on board. You can take advantage of the local car ferry, and take your car with you if you wish, although a car in unnecessary on Sipan.
